The origin of the Super Tuscans, as their name suggests, is to be found in the region that was initially famous for other types of wines: Tuscany, closely linked to Chianti and its production regulations but also a land of new ideas and new wines. At the end of the 20th century, some winemakers started making bold choices, using new blends to enhance the quality of grapes grown in a magical territory full of potential. A brave but undoubtedly successful choice as Supertuscans are now appreciated everywhere for their completely different characteristics.

Passaluna was first made in 2021 with grapes harvested in 2017. We wait patiently for the quality of our Syrah and Colorino to be excellent in order to create this blend; this is why this wine is not made every year but only when the soil and climate conditions are perfect.

A great red with a powerful structure, intense colour, and spicy aromas of cloves, black pepper and smoky notes. Smooth and decisive on the palate, it recreates the spicy and fruity notes featured in the bouquet, with elegant tannins and lingering persistence.
