This is a “top cuvée” made in limited quantities and only in the best years using select fruit from the estate vineyards.

Blend

90% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

Aging

Fermentation for the Sangiovese is with specially selected yeasts and maceration takes place in temperature controlled cement vats. The wine spends 12 months in French barriques before being blended. The Cabernet Sauvignon is vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and is then racked in French barriques, of which half are new, before being assembled with the Sangiovese.
