“Irpide”: a word in Tuscan dialect that evokes carefree childhood memories and happy times spent with grandparents. We would like this wine, made from Sangiovese grapes, to convey a little of that carefree feeling.

A Chianti Colli Senesi aged in French container, definitely worth discovering and sharing, for precious moments with friends. It can be kept for up to nine years; we recommend drinking it between three and eight years after harvest.

Deep red in colour, Irpide is an excellent Chianti with aromas of red berry jam and spices. The ageing gives the wine a soft, slightly spicy character with elegant tannins and medium acidity. Intense, fruity aroma with notes of spices and caramel.
