Description

The best of our Barbera in a bottle of Nizza DOCG “Mumbersé”.  Wine with an intense aroma of ripe fruit, blackberry jam, chocolate, vanilla, with an enveloping and warm taste with hints of red fruits.

Production method and aging

We obtain Nizza DOCG “Mumbersé” from very selected Barbera grapes from vineyards at least 30 years old, with good exposure to south/south-west in the hills around Mombercelli, area of origin of wines of outstanding quality. The clusters are thinned out to reach 4-5 clusters per vine, which allows perfect ripening.

Typical vinification in red, with 10 days of maceration on the skins. At the end of the fermentation, we rack the free-run wine and transfer it into clean tanks, where it decants for a few days. The wine then ages 18 months in 225 liters barriques.
