Our San Giorgio a Lapi family business is located 6 km from Siena, on the border between Chianti Classico and Chianti Colli Senesi.

San Giorgio a Lapi is a harmoniously complex reality that encompasses many souls: we are four brothers who, based on our personalities and knowledge, take care of the production process: from the preparation of the vineyards to marketing. This is how the wide range of products of our company was born: from genuine and linear wines for daily consumption, to wines of considerable structure with a decisive bouquet.

We chose Church of San Giorgino as the symbol of the company, a small ecclesiastical building dating back to 1109. It stands on the grounds of the estate and which, with its dominant position, seems to observe and protect the expanses of vineyards and olive groves on the gentle Tuscan slopes .

In our tours, in addition to the guided tour of the church, we accompany our guests to the cellars where we let them discover how wine is born and matures (vinification cellar, aging in barrels and aging in bottles). In 2020 we decided to set up the suggestive panoramic terrace with a view of the Crete Senesi on one side and the Chianti hills on the other for our tastings.
