Rinascita, the Italian word for “rebirth,” is also a play on the Italian word for Renaissance – the period during which Tuscany excelled through its artistic and cultural development.

The wine is predominantly made from our younger vines of Sangiovese with a small addition of Merlot. It is “fruit-forward” in style, yet also soft and graceful with a medium-body.

Mainly Sangiovese grapes.

Aging

The Sangiovese grapes used to produce the wine are picked by hand and then fermented at carefully controlled temperatures in stainless steel to preserve the fresh red berry and cherry fruit notes. A small percentage of Merlot, aged in French oak barrels, is then blended with the Sangiovese for added complexity.
