Omphalos in Greek means “belly button” or “center”. Our Cannonau from the center of the island has all the characteristics of a typical Sardinian Cannonau but, as the other wines we have selected, is rounder and an easier pour than some of our stronger, more demanding Cannonaus, such as the famous Nepente from Oliena.
