On the Via Cassia for Florence, one kilometer from the center of Tavarnelle is the Voltaccia, a small fraction of four houses. In one of these, in 1949 the Corti family winery was founded. To celebrate our 60th birthday, we have produced this wine, a full-bodied, soft and elegant wine, a perfect synthesis between tradition and innovation.

Blend

The grapes come from a single particle of 1.5 hectares entirely cultivated with Merlot with Franco-Argilloso soil at an altitude of 370 meters above sea level.

Ageing

Alcoholic fermentation in cement vats with three weeks on the skins, three pumpovers a day and two Delestages during fermentation. It matures in French oak tonneaux and partly in cement vats for about 12 months and is aged for at least 6 months in bottle. Aging forecast 8-10 years
