Castelvecchio farm is a certified organic farm located in San Casciano Val di Pesa, 20 km south of Florence in the heart of Chianti Colli Fiorentini Docg area. In the 15th century a villa was built over the ruins of the original castle. The logo is accompanied by a coat of arms taken from the original one in stone on the facade of the 12th century S. Lorenzo Chapel, in pure Romanesque style, situated at the entrance of the winery.
The quality of the wines is obtained with passion and constant care in the vineyards. The product line points at the affirmation of the character and the originality of each grape. Passion, tradition and innovation come together to create infinite emotions at every harvest.
We welcome tourists from all over the world for a wine tasting experience at the winery as well as on purchased wine order. We are able to organize wine education tasting session online with our sommelier on request.
