Manzone Giovanni bought the Ciabot del Preve in 1925, starting his wine production, later expanded with the addition of Castelletto and Gramoliere, two of the best cru of Monforte d’Alba.
This area is home to exquisite Barolo and Nebbiolo. All our production is quality-oriented and it is limited to 50.000 bottles a year. The elevation, the vines’ extreme slope and the fantastic terroir favor a natural low production, which gives birth to condensed and long-lived wines. Both young and older generations equally love them.
As Azienda Manzone Giovanni, we believe in a healthy and sustainable farming. We cut the grass that naturally grows in our vineyards and leave it on the terrain so it can become humus. All our wines are non clarified, non filtered and with a minimal amount of SO2.
